If you enjoy connecting with other artists while developing your watercolor skills, Mastrius might be fulfilling for you. Mastrius is an online platform that connects Master Artists with aspiring artists like you.

Mastrius In February, I will be mentoring a SMALL GROUP (max 8 artists) with Mastrius. The group meets online monthly to help you achieve your specific goals. We will discuss how to prepare for a strong start to your painting, including finding photos, selecting a size and layout, choosing colors, and creating the drawing.

We will discuss techniques and solutions including softening, glazing, layering colors, creating fur, and establishing the impression of contour. I anticipate this to be a one-day workshop, about 90 minutes.

July 14 - 18: Watercolor Animal Week for Beginners (price t.b.a.)

Our popular workshop is returning! This will be a 5-day workshop for beginners. We will begin with materials and simple techniques. Then, move to eyes, noses, and fur. Finally, we will put everything together to paint an animal. Mark these dates on your calendar! A waitlist will be coming in May.
