Published about 2 months ago • 1 min read
Hello Friends,
An opportunity for beginners is coming in July!
Do you yearn to paint realistic animals but aren't sure if you can do it? Do you hold back, thinking you don't have natural talent? Is the thought of getting started overwhelming?
You are not alone! As a beginner, I had the same concerns. Many of us have been there. Let's do something about it!
Watercolor Animal Week for Beginners!
From July 14 - 18, 2025, I will present a week of short lessons for beginners. By the end of the week, you will have begun your journey in painting realistic animals.
Here's an overview of what the week looks like:
Day 1, July 14: We will paint a simple eye (1 hour)
Day 2, July 15: We will paint a nose (1 hour)
Day 3, July 16: We will paint fur (1 hour)
Days 4, 5, July 17, 18: Put it all Together - Paint a Realistic Animal (about 2 hours each day)
For each lesson, you get the materials list, line drawing, and reference photo. In addition, we will discuss:
How to mix and layer colors
Anatomy of an eye, nose, bone structure
Techniques/tips/formulas - apply to your own paintings
I believe that you can do this - now is the time to get started!
Short lessons - just a bit of time, we will move slowly
